The public transportation in the capital of Denmark is great: We have an expansive network of buses, city trains and a truly modern Metro. Most locals are riding the bike, though, and you will find free bikes everywhere in the city centre. If you do need to have a car at your disposal, remember that the parking fees are extremely steep in the centre - approximately 8 USD per hour!

You will find most of the established car hire companies in Copenhagen such as Avis, Herz and Sixt. They all provide a excellent service and offer a wide range of cars from luxury to standard.
Most of the offices are located centrally in Copenhagen or next to the airport so you won't have trouble finding them.

For a cheap car hire alternative, however, we are recommending Rentawreck. Here, you will not be offered luxury cars, but the prices are much more reasonable.
